Chippewa Valley Festival Choir is an ensemble that performs with the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra. The Chippewa Valley Festival Choir made its premiere singing Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra in May 2019.

Upcoming Performance: “Ode to Joy” Saturday, May 11, 2024

This season the Chippewa Valley Festival Choir will join CVSO in a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 “Ode to Joy” on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. in the RCU Theatre at Pablo Center at the Confluence. One of the most famous and performed symphonies of all time, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony was the first to incorporate a chorus. This groundbreaking symphony is an epic journey of human experience from individual struggle to universal exultation.

Rehearsals

Regular rehearsals are Monday evenings 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Plymouth United Church of Christ beginning April 1, 2024. In addition, there will be a dress rehearsal on the evening before the concert.
